Cobra Emperor?!?

Seem to remember from my youth that at one point a Cobra Emperor figure was introduced. Anybody know the story with that guy?

I only remember it as a figure?.. Was kinda similar to Cobra Commander but done in gold and jade green. Didn?t really read any of the comics after it stopped being in battle?. Always preferred the red shadows??

Good man! Although the Geoff Senior artwork in Marvel UK's ACtion Force is worth a gander IMO.

Stretching my mind back about 20 odd years?.. yep he looks familiar?.

I take it he was originally a GI Joe character then that was introduced into the British comics with no real explanation?

Any ideas why he wasn?t market over here as Serpantor as if my (admittedly dodgy) memory serves me right, he was packaged as Cobra Emperor with a biog to match?

Also?. I admit the artwork has been consistantly good, its just the story lines seemed to become quite ludicrus in the post red shadows period and also

Serpentor was supposed to be a composite mind of the greatest military leaders throughout history, in a cloned body (according to the Marvel US comics the body was cloned from Storm Shadow).
