I know the Palitoy shadows are going for stupid prices still, but they are 20 year old vintage figures.

I couldnt justify paying more than a fiver each for a new figure.

I hope this doesn't come across as too negative - its not intended to, I congratulate you Jamar on all your wonderful efforts! - but for me Action Force is about the nostalgia of being a 9 year old and therefore I am only interested in vintage toys that came from my childhood [or customs that look like they did].

Therefore anything post '85 is of little interest to me. Especially if it is at a relatively high price.

thanks for all your comments guys, this is exactly why I sent the pm out and set up the poll, before I started the production process I wanted to see if its viable and so far the majority says NO.

and I would want to know that before I spent money on trying to get this done.

If it were a lot cheaper and they came in a nice box i'd be interested but at the current prices unfortunately it would be a no sorry.

the good thing about all of this is, looks like the BLADES and helicopter from Joecon is way above most of your guys spending limit on toys. which is good for me and those who want the blades and helcopter and are willing to pay for it LOL it will be easier to find for us YEAHHHH !!!

There are people getting these figures made already in different colours, there are several sellers selling new 84 cobra troopers and officers - big outcry a while ago as people were trying to pass them off as originals.

One guy on ebay us is selling a white trooper which is obviously newly moulded at $20...

ya thats what I was quoted, it would cost for each figure plus the new tooling for the head and a box plus shipping a set of 10 would cost about $250

take the pic of the red one then photoshop one of SteveDs heads in color a black color and what not on the figure and you would have what it would look like LOL

unless there is a big change in the poll, its just not worth my time to waiste any more time on it

Jamar I think everyone appreciates what youre doing (maybe not the mass pm ) but they are a bit expensive. I dont think a comparison with a con figure is so valid as they are much much more detailed and there are a lot of other costs associated with them. The fact that we want a red shadow head will push the price up a fair bit as its obvious these people can produce the original figure quite cheaply judging from the prices of these on ebay, thanks for the idea anyway...
