Action Force Data Files?

Post by NemesisEnforcerFan »

Does anyone know where I can get the data files for the following characters.

Dolphin.
Red Jackal.
Stalker.

By data files I mean the ones with coloured art on as well as the standard filecard?

I would be grateful if you could get me these by email or lonkies. thanks

Thanks.. Interesting..

 Interesting.. the Red Jackal was exactly what I was looking for.. that :dolphin2: one and :stalker: aren't like mine though?

The dolphin file is of the straight arm released figure. Mine is the repainted Grunt figure?
Seen here:

Also the stalker picture shows his face as being like the US stalker yet further down has the full mask like Snake Eyes..
Anyone know if theres a variant Data File for him.. and is there a coloured version of the stalker one?

Those are the only ones, but there a few throwbacks to the previous AF figures. Cobra's Red Wolf is also the Red Shadow figure. I suspect that Palitoy were too cheap to stump up a set of replacement toys for the comic book creators, as they already had them from the year before.

Which is exactly why I didn't buy them.

Found this one for Dolphin

Post by NemesisEnforcerFan »

I found this on International Joes.com
http://www.internationaljoes.com/Dolphin.htm

Theres a small blue insert with Dolphin's details as well as a coloured picture.. it's a shame there isn't one with stalker like this.

Stalkers data file.

Post by NemesisEnforcerFan »

On the actual data file for Action Force Stalker with his mask removed they have the face of UK Jammer (which is US Stalker). .. really obvious to me they didnt put too much thought into the repaints..

They are cool to have into my collection.. and I really do see this as ample opportunity of having an elite unit seperate from the US G.I.JOE
I do see them as different characters which is why I was looking for a different filecard.

Hasn't anyone managed to group all these together yet? I do know that Hasbro took over the line at some point.. and then obviously stuck to Action Force International Heroes and eventually changed it to G.I.JOE.. but prior to H taking the line.. when it was just Action Force with the US repaints.. didn't they come with propper cards per se?

Were palitoy just lazy... or were they more focused to just getting the toys out into the market?

Unfortunately the filecards were just yellow boxes on the back of the packets which contained the same blurb as the comic pages.

The wave 2 figures had a featured panel on the blueprints, here they are:

No Quarrel, Red Laser, Stalker or Steeler though, sorry.

Copying?

Post by NemesisEnforcerFan »

Ok.. is it cool for me to use these to print out for my own collection?

I printed off the Data File for Quarrel so I had something to display with her when I was taking a pic.

I think it just looks really good to have the figure with a filecard or data file. Those blue print versions of the Jammer , Guacho, Blades & Hunter figures are awesome!
