in-fiction, I'm not sure, but the figure needs to bend over to make a straight shot, 'cause the backpack is just one piece (save for the missiles themselves)

They were featured by Marvel DA but not using the missile launchers Larry Hama most likely thought they look impractical although he did use the HEAT Viper in #130 for a few issues.

yes, Ripcord came from eBay US, the same shop i got Leatherneck from: Yo Toe.

very. Ripcord cost £9.85 including shipping (plus the fee for changing £ to $ at the bank). Leatherneck was £5.76 inc. shipping. Halifax charges £1.50 to change £ to $, so Rip was £11.35 and Leatherneck was £7.26. the green figure stands were free.

Don't buy off noatomicbot they have had 16 negative feedback recently the last was me they are another take your money and don't post the item kind of seller.
