I'd go and see on the big screen dude, purely because it's GI Joe in live action but it's not very good...infact chances are the more you know about GI Joe and the comics the more you'll dislike the film, Larry Hama handed them stories on a plate and they just kind of ignored all that :(

No offence but, seriously?? Even with my GI-Joe-worship-tinted-glasses on I couldn't give it even close to 8...

You're saying this was a near-perfect film for you?

Out of interest what other films do you class as 9's and 10's?
Mac and Me...
Inspector Gadget 2...

This had better be for the 1986 version or you will meet my friend pain.

I'll give my version of this so you can see where I'm coming from, I'm not trying to be a dick with all this by the way....so hopefully I don't come off as one bro.

Dark Knight 11/10 totally agree, loved this film!

Iron Man 8/10 No serious villains but easily one of the best superhero interpretations for me of recent times, love the nods to other characters and stuff...

Gladiator 6/10 Dunno, just didn't interest me...maybe I would have enjoyed it more if it was casted with unknowns.

Transformers 7/10 Once I got past all the misuse of characters and things like blatant car ads I found it a pretty enjoyable film, Micheal Bay is pure "Hollywood" (not a good thing in my eyes) but we were never gonna get a Stanley Kubrick for a film about Robots from outer-space right?

Revenge of the Fallen 5/10 Some cool sequences but f*cked up alot of characters royally, just kind of went throught the motions and bored me to f*ck...I looked at my watch a million times waiting for it to end.

V for Vendetta 7/10 I've seen this but can't really remember alot about it...guess that says alot? You'd have to do pretty well to get Alan Moore right on the big-screen :(

Hot Fuzz ?/10 Haven't seen this as Simon Pegg and co annoy the piss out of me. Sorry.

'86 is an easy 10! I always remember the impact that film had on me as a little kid...seemed so epic in scale and I can watch it now and still really get into it.

Daily Mail gave ROC 1* today, apparently it's "less pretentious than Watchmen"

that's cause the Scary mail is trying to incite a public uprising with swine flu still, so anything representing, truth, justice and the American way, will get shafted.
