Wow! I just read the wikipedia article's overview and it is... alien invaders in the middle ages! kind of, at least. What a creative idea! specially for an old series...

I just seem to remember the obvious choices, but I can still recall the obscure continuations, like the New Adventures of He-Man (MOTU sans all the Masters save, He-Man, Skeletor and the manipulative bi...the Sorceress):

The Tripods was one of my Favourite books and shows. I haven't read the prequel and will confess to being a bit cautious. I have the first DVD set and downloaded the second. I'll buy it for sure it, now its been released officially. The DVD's are season 1 and 2 which cover books 1 and 2. The third got axed before production.
Righto, off to ebay....
PS unfortunately Disney now have the rights and plan to make a movie that looks so far to be complete and utter bollocks. How unusual.

Not a TV show, but in looking for Noseybonk (in the white trousers thread) I refound this advert, that is defintiely worth a second look after all these years:-

These latest days (specially after Disney announced a new comic book miniseries for June) I've been thinking a lot about this '90s series:
