The Action Force and Action Man connection.

Post by The Baron »

Every now and again I come across an Action Man figure that reminds me of a member of Action Force.

Just how many of the Action Force figures were based upon Action Man designs?

Yeah, am pretty sure Black Major is right - 2 Para, SAS, Commando, Pilot etc. Prob the Desert Rat chap too. And that German Stormtrooper with the potato mashers.

Oh, brings back such memories of 81-82.

Yup, seems that way. Good call on Naval Assault.

Did AMan have a Desert Goon then?

OK that's kinda what I thought, I think we need a gallery.

Next step, were any of the later figures done at all, and what's the likelihood of an Action Man Red Shadow customisation?

the desert action man figure is called ground assault I think, I have it boxed and the aric and underwater assalt too, I can get some pics.

I would of thought that it would be fairly easy to do a red shadow as its mainly a german stormtrooper and with the 40th action man sets out now, you would'nt even need to ruin a vintage set to make one up
