Where does all the MIB stuff come from?

I've been wanting to ask this question for ages.
Can any one give there ideas of why so much AF stuff is avaliable in perfect condition? i mean it is totaly possible that you could collect the entire range in top condition for next to nothing compered with say some-one who is collecting Starwars (which i would consider much more common and over priced, and i say that as a dabbling collector).
Don't get me wrong, i'm not complaning cos it's great that we can do this in our hobby, i'm just curious as to what has happened to cause secret caches of AF stuff to be discovered in the last 5-6 years.
Also does any-one find that this goes in cycles e.g 2years ago i was finding mainly wave 1+2 figures and vehicles in boxes and on card, yet this year so far it's mainly wave 3 figures and vehicles.

Anyway any opinions on this i'd be glad to hear.

Most of this stuff comes from the more mature collectors and wise parents who made sure the toys did not end up in jumble sales, charity shops and even to the dump.

And verily I did. But not the figures - name and id and legend cut off the card... and the free figure commander/skeletron stuff. Apart from the Xmas stuff bought cheap from Morrisons 'cos da boxes and cards had been mullered! Still wonder where Wheels came from sometimes...

Maybe it's available 'cos our generation finally having bought abodes get prompted by the old rentals to clear out our stuff from the attic...

Although I remember something about "warehouse finds" a few years back.

personally I think there is loads of deadstock becuase Action Force was around at the time when toy shops started closing down in the mid 80's to be replaced by computer game shops, so loads ended up at warehouses.

I have to say, I was only referring to stock, not any of the muppetry. Guess that really was a generation change as the Amiga etc. took hold, then nintendo, then PS1. Yeah, it really was that long ago. Flint and Scarlett and Lady Jaye probably spent so long together in warehouses that they spawned not only Power Rangers but Ant and Dec.

Oh well, still got my Rogue Trooper game for the frkn CBM 64. In theory. Am currently "moving house" i.e. fkn last remaining rental chucked me out whilst on mission, got the 64's stashed in a container but the games might be AWOL, salvaged the "Baron's Revenge" on TDK-audio tape (yeah, it's not a game), ditto fkn letter from barstard Palitoy regarding my considerable irritation to be disenfranchised of the real etc. in early 85 as referred to before (can't find link for now). Plus their subsequent letter inviting me to compete - privately - for a whole new collection of muppetry. Which I did. But never heard anymore. Though BAF published the "winners" despite it not being a house-mag comp. Bet the bustuds lived in Coalville...

That's the thing about the war on error, wherever you look, your enemy is actually at home, contriving against you, bigging up enemies to the point of hubris. What a fkn load of shte!
