He's German ATT-vintage yeah? They were issued with non-lethal weapons so were a bit anti-war. Also the average Shad with the potato mashers, WW2 German infantry webbing, 'eagle' on right chest, marked épaulettes, German-ish helmet arrangement adorned with SS 'Totenkopf'-style skull and crossbones would be too Nazi presumably. The Swastika - and possibly SS markings too - are banned in Germany: hence the styling?
Was in Arnhem last weekend visiting UK airborne div cemetery and walking the perimeter in Oosterbeek then into town and John Frost bridge cos I can't make it on Sept 17th for the anniversary, reminds you how badly the SS armoured divs carved up the airborne, ******** bloodbath, then you have all the psychotics like Joachim Piper who led the attack on the Ardennes, killing machines and nothing else.
