Nice job, normally I don't like S/W figure parts used in customs, but this one works very well.
I think it's the goggles, they seem to fit into the "vibe".
If you think about it, sos many of the costumes from the original Star Wars films have a lot of old amy kit used in them.

As for a vehicle how about the Lynx (in red) form the "Slaughters Marauders" line?
I love some of the upgrades in that line up.

as for vehicle, either a red AWE Striker or a red Armadillo.

Not quite sure but I'm pretty confident I already mentioned using the AWE Striker

A pity he's not articulated for desert recon a bike would be good the SAS used them in the initial Iraq conlict of the 90's according to the book Victor Two I read recently. Or maybe a re-painted Joe light vehicle like an AWE Striker or Desert Razor would work.
