Wrong. They just appeared in the two-parter "The Greatest Evil", mainly because, to give better the "drugs kill" message, Headman was killed by an overdose he tried to use agains both the Joes and (well, if that didn't kill him, his own base crumbling on him did), so the EDC ended without any enemy to fight and they didn't appear again in the DiC series.

The right answer is Slice and Zarana. As far as I noted, Dice didn't give a damn. In fact, that same saga made me know and love Slice (in a straight sense), and that's why I don't have the frequent confusion between both ninjas that even the creative teams had sometimes (they were name-swapped in the DiC episode "The Sword", to give an example).
