Just wondering does anyone ever source any AF from these anymore. I know there used to be alot but has ebay killed off alot of them now?

it's worth a look i went to one last year and picked up 140 palitoy figures for £120 i had to search but i got a great deal in the end.

There are the usual ones at Memorabilia and others but I've found that this site often gives clues for the smaller ones that don't advertise though what at them is a bit of a gamble but then isn't that half the fun anyway.

I had a good deal @ the last N.E.C toy fair, & Joe stuff is still out there but does take some finding...Dave Tree say's a lot of dealers wont touch it, maybe that attitude will change when the Joe movie comes out?
I know Star Wars toys where treated with contempt for many years, untill dealers realised how much it was worth...leading to a glut of stock that's now brought prices back down to realistic prices again, it's already happening with prices on Fee-bay.

your right of course, once the movie is out and dependant on how well it does it should bring a whole new generation of fans, so fingers crossed toy fairs might just be the ticket to action force heaven.

Was shocked to find out a few weeks back that there is a toy fair held regularly at the local school next to my Doctor's surgery. At the time the missus was still in hopsital, so the sprog and me went to check it out (The first toy fair I'd been to in about 8 years!). Surprisingly there was a stall selling carded AF/Joes. Mainly 1990s stuff, but there was a whole slew of AF carded Airtights there. Fella wanted £10 for each of those. Didn't have any Palitoy era stuff, but talking to the guy at the stall, he said that he does have plenty of loose Palitoy era figures that he normally sells for a about a quid a throw.

It's a short walk from Dartford Rail Station, but PM me and I can give you better directions or meet up to show you where it is.
Had a good time there, but the sprog managed to retrieve his sippy cup from under his buggy and nearly showered a load of 1960s boxed corgis in his orange juice! Ooops!

Bomber is thta the fairs run by SRP Toy Fairs? As they do the rounds of the South East, including Orpington as well. They are a bit hit and miss though.

There were A LOT of loose SW figures, lots of trains and cars and one stand, right at the end, with this giant, shining box of figures. I think we'd given up hope just before we reached it!

Yup, says SRP on the flyer. Was mainly diecast up for sale (managed to pick up a carded corgi junior Buck Rogers fighter for £6) but there were stalls with Star Wars et al for sale also. Prices for everything seem to have stablised since I last went to a toy show (The main reason I stopped going to them), a consequence of eBay I guess. Considering that I haven't been to a show like that in a while, was surprised to see a gent and his son who used to always be at the toy fairs in Surrey (where I used to live), the only thing is that the son was about 12 years old last time I saw him whereas now he towered over me almost a decade later!
