Looking forward to part two tonight, they seemed to have really ramped things up for this mini series haven't they?
Wonder if this will be the last series?

There's not been any mention of it being axed. I just saw this:

There's also no series of Dr. Who this year, instead we get four "Specials"

:-(

I will watch the new Dr I have already missed some of DT's last outings as the Doctor but I am dubious about the new one he still looks too young to play the part so if I don't like him I will refer to him as Doctor Sperm.

I have to admit to being a tad dissapointed by the last special.
That massive steam-age Cyberman robot I liked a lot though :-D

the reason for the 5-episode 'mini series' of Torchwood was budgetary. Something to do with only having one production team going instead of the usual two, where there's no Who. Rusty was fine with it though, because he had this idea kicking around and decided it fit a shorter run.

last night's was cool.

Since it's been getting stellar ratings (hence it moving from 3 to 2 and then to 1) i don't think they're going to cancel it. if anything, they'd be more likely to punt it back to 2.

It was great tonight apparently John Barrowman isn't happy they only got 5 episodes this time round.

Lower budget or not I think this has been (so far) the best series yet, nice tight scripting, faster paced, darker & yet some great laugh-out funny lines...just hope it continues in this way over the next 3 episodes.
