who reads the official novels from films <SPOILERS>

Post by porkins »

i was just wonderring if anyone else out there likes to read the novels for the different films as they tend to include lots of plots that would have made great parts in the films if so what are your best bits
aliens by alan dean foster
when riply is looking for newt 1st she finds burke stuck to the wall and he begs her to help him because he can feel the allien moviing in his chest so she gives him a grenade and walks off
also the transformers revenge of the fallen by alan dean foster
unless i missed it in the film at the very end of the novel megatron is back on his ship
the dim lights flickered on and megatron surveyed the expanse of the cargo bay. Row upon row level upon level of sarcophagi rested in the immense hold. Each contained a slumbering protoform, each a mighty warrior that would swear undying allegiance to him. With a vision of the devastation to come, megatron uttered his first command to his legions "ARISE!"
so if they make another film it sounds like the s%*t will hit the fan

I have quite a few prequel Star Wars books and the movie ones they are very good I also have the Rise of Cobra prequel book. I can't find the Terminator Salvation book now which is annoying me.

Don't worry guy's I can't remember seeing this in the movie, & I stayed untill the credits stopped rolling.
The best movie novel I've ever read was the Gostbusters one, The original 1977 Star Wars novel very good as well, better than the film in some respects.

Star Wars has the humanoid Jabba in it before he became the well known hutt instead. I read storybooks years ago of some films I have Neverending Story which has the full story after the film ended and Black Hole but haven't seen it in years.

The novel of 2001 A Space Odyssey makes a hell of a lot more sense than the movie itself.
