as much as i like Cobra, ive been on an Red Shadow building kick lately. they just have that menacing look to them (plus they are easier to come by than the Cobra soldiers & Officers)

I just did a group shot of my red shadows and compared it with a group shot of my cobra. Red Shadows look way better. It would have been so good if Hasbro had created the figures and had continued to expand the line.

Thats a toughy. I love, and I mean LOVE Cobra, I really do. But the Shadows are pretty kickin in their own right.

I'm gonna hafta go with Cobra for the simple reason that I have no Shadows .

I have to agree with ViperLord. Also, I've had more history with Cobra due to G.I. Joe being the big name brand for these characters here in the U.S. Now, if Hasbro decided to make new action figures of the Baron and the Red Shadows, that would be pretty cool and could sway my vote. (By the way, I am assuming that Cobra Commander is the "former Baron IronBlood", so this newer version of the evil leader would be a newer leader to wear that crazy hood.)
Actually, I'm really surprised that Hasbro let the Action Force line slip in the U.K., what with all the raging success they have experienced with G.I. Joe in America. They should really try to relaunch the toy-line with some new stuff.

As much as I love my Shads, I really have to go for Cobra's. They come better outfitted and in bigger diversity.

I don?t think its a good contest because the Shadows stopped producing and de Cobra?s also had more different troops.

I think the Shadows concept is great but it did not reach it full potentional. Cobra has reached many collectors and the design in their troops is awesome. So for me its gonne be Cobra. Not much of a contest there.
