Ooh, I do like all this 'let's wait for Paul' stuff! Makes me feel very important!

This was an idea I typed out last night before going to bed.

By today, it had grown into a monster!




I think the current 'plan' is perfectly fine.

My only 'disapproval' is the Joe angle because I'm AF through and through!

But I can live with it for the greater good.




I think my other idea, though, has gotten lost in translation a bit.

There were 2 sides of my idea:

1 - Custom of the month - a bit of fun for us all. Help us focus on getting customs finished, etc, before deadline day!

Now, all sorted.

and

2 - Customiser's Top Ten's. - this was never meant to be in 'competion' with the monthly, er, competion.

Just the opposite. It was meant to be a laid back look at people's customs back catalogues.

Maybe one guy every couple of weeks. They choose their top ten faves and we 'have another look' at them. Discuss what was good, bad, ugly, where the idea came from and what it led to.

I'd personally be really interested in looking through the back catalogue of the Baron's many vehicles. They look great and are sort of 'forgotten' in the archives.

Every couple of weeks, one of us pulls out some of the golden oldies and we all have a chat about them.



I know that alienates the newbies, but once you guys have a bit of a collection going, we can then look at yours.

I'd like to start with Andy90210 as he's eveyone's buddy on here, has inspired a lot of us and would be a great one to start the ball rolling.

It's not meant to compete with the monthly competition at all. Its the exact opposite, a walk down customiser's memory lane.

At the end of it, we could vote on what we think is his best work.

Then look at another members...

Slowly, all in good time. There's no rush. Once every few weeks or whatever.




I think Ross has the Monthly Custom Competition sorted now, so Andy needs to sort out his Top Ten for us next....

as far as I can see there is no competition here, this is just a trip down memory lane, revisiting some of my personal favorites. but I will post it as a poll so members can vote on what they think is my "best" concept.

Ross can organise the competition which will be open to all and cover all bases ?
