Re: Black/Dark Shadow
cool, but i think he would look better using a repainted shad or sas torso! never a big fan of this torso, too plain.
not areflection on your figure, love the idea & good job would just love to see him more kitted out for action! love the belt detail on the back, is that all stuck on individually?

Cool custom! I would see him more as a character than a trooper. In my opinion shadow troopers are supposed to be anonimous (hidden face).

What sort of a mother is that, giving birth limb by limb going from place to place!Chopper wrote:Birthplace: Various

Re: Black/Dark Shadow
Yeah Ross, its a German belt backing, just blu tacked on atm and painted black. Got some bits from Paul (cheers dude) yesterday and already cobbled together 6 figures. Up late again, got 2 Q force and a Space Force custom to follow. Run out of heads now tho. I liked the body because it made it easier to stick the belt on. Most of the more detailed ones have bottles, bum bags, ammo pouches etc in the way. I cannot bring myself to repaint a Shad black, so this is it.
Don't get the John Woo thing Steve, what's that about? I was just pleased to get a head that would fit a German Helmet. Go on Steve......
I'd hide his face a bit, but its hard with that Helmet, LJ. Way I see it is Black troopers outrank the Red Shadows, so he's more akin to the Black Major, maybe a NCO?

I thought it was two guns eh was holding, but on further inspection I was wrong. Hence the John Woo reference.Chopper wrote:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_wield
The Dual wield has become sort of a signature piece for John Woo films - usually while the hero is diving sideways. Always a good look. When I eventually get round to organising some paint balling fun I plan on spending lots of time dual wielding. So will no doubt injure myself and end up in hospital.
