I was feeling a bit rough & almost didn't go out @ lunch time yesterday..glad I did as I found this little lot for the grand total of £2.24 in the local charity shop ,

Really surprised when the old dear behind the counter asked for .25p for it:-0

I dont know any thing about this chopper but, something about it's simple design & colouring just really appeals to me, it's a cheap toy, but has a relly quality feel to it..if you get my drift,

Wrist Racers!!!!

Does the helicopter have any kind of winding mechanism? or is it just all plastic?

Cant believe you got a wrist racer! Thats all I wanted one christmas, I opened it and wound it up too much on my first go

A lot of my school mates used to have Wrist Racers @ primary school, mostly the General Lee one, I've had to wait nearly 30 years to own one..the kid next door had that play set with General Lee & the Barn in it,As well as a Evil Knievel stunt bike..great toys that I really wanted.
The chopper's not got any fancy working parts Dave, in fact its very basic & made of Tupperware type polythene that Airfix use to use for soldiers..I don't know why but something about it's looks just drew me towards it..wonder if it's based on a real life design? It sort of looks like an X-plane or something, or that thing from M.A.S.K,

I had a neighbour in wigan who had the wrist launchers and anything else he wanted
