Firefox weirdness

Post by The Baron »

I was browsing Yojoe the other night, downloading some photos when my PC froze. I tried a set of keyboard hotkeys, but mistyped - I have no idea what I actually did.

As a result now when I visit Yojoe I cannot see any pictures. Every other site is fine, and Yojoe displays fine using IE, I was worried I'd tripped an anti-download thing or something but apparently not.

Has anyone come across this kind of problem before?

If already checked, check the Exceptions.

If that's not it, it might be a plugin you have (e.g., AdBlock) which you can test by turning off each plugin and re-trying YoJoe.

If YoJoe is still pooched for you after all that, you can backup your Firefox profile, delete the original, and Firefox will create a whole new profile for you (aka a blank slate). You can then restore whatever you need from your old profile (cookies, saved passwords, bookmarks, etc.) to get things kinda sorta almost back to the way they were.

Bill is in the post.
