this is very usefull, we take deposits from overseas customers by paypall & didnt think about it but before when they come in & get tattooed & pay the balance with deposit deducted we are loosing out!
i'd say this is about 10% of our customers, so soon mounts up!

I regularly send payments to Golden Puma as gifts, and don't recall having paid a charge (as far as I know. I never hold money in my Paypal account as it's all done via Direct Debit and it doesn't seem to have charged me)
The charge for sending Jaye's £13 was a grand total of £0.07, which is neither here nor there.
I'm always tempted to put, in the comments box, "here is your birthday money from Uncle Ed and Aunty Ann"...

Put "BLOOD FOR THE BARON!!!"
I used to put in on envelopes until I realised that it would then get opened by Homeland Securitty.

Re: Paypal tip: thanks to AnnieM!
If anyone would like to send me money as a gift I am open to all donations.
My experience of this is that I once clicked 'Pay Now' on eBay and waited for two weeks with no items sent. When I questioned the seller, she responded with 'Well, it's your fault for sending an e-cheque!" I don't even know what an e-cheque is, or indeed how I sent one. Women often ignore me, so no change there, but I didn't do it on purpose!

Well I just gone to send a payment by gift and the charges have come out at close to 10% of the final fee. What a rip off, going to go the BACS route now, a bit slower and exposes you a bit more but with trusted sellers it shouldn't be a problem.
