Im in the same boat myself, Ive been to lots of SF fairs, and their are usually a few odds and sods of AF. :?

The first of the London AM shows is in march, it is about 15 mins drive for me, and only a quid so if it isnt any good it is no real hassle. Ill head along to it and post a review afterwards.

London International Action Man Day + Sci Fi Collectors Fair

Post by steve »

Went to this today for a look round and shop.

Admittance is ?1 to get into the two shows. :D

The Sci Fi Collectors fair had some MOC new GI Joe, and one stall had MOC Mutons for ?7 (oddly I passed on that). Overall about 50-60 tables, lots of SF figures, very much biassed towards Star Wars.

The Action Man show is in a seperate hall down the road. Only 16-20 tables, of which 2 had Action Force. One had complete loose figures at between ?4 and ?8 each. The other one had incomplete loose figures, but the deal I was offered was to good to refuse.

?6.50 for Original Action Force base (missing only the Machine guns, but Ive got some of those spare anyway), and the following figures: Space Patroller, Original Commando, Original SAS, Naval Assault, Royal Marine + Night Attack pilot. This was half the price they were displayed at, so it was too good to refuse.

In conclusion, some good finds for me today, and I would happily recommend the shows if you are a general SF collector as well as Action Force and live in the general area of Essex/Herts/North London.
