Hi Andy,
How about putting a qaud or other machine gun turret up front..like the old river patrol boats use to have?

Its a great idea but perhaps my little boat is a bit small to accommodate something like that ?

If I looked at it through a magnifying glass, would it be converted to 1:18 scale ?

Cheers Andy..thats why I like seeing all the customs here, I appreciate the time & effort that you guys put into 'em. Sadly I just don't seem to have the patience for it that I once had any more.

Yep it's the same type of boat as the one in the film..I just like the look of them, I remember going to a R.C. model boat show once & seeing a big sort of command boat from the sort of Vietnam war period, it had a helicopter landing pad on it with a Huey sitting on top, gun positions dotted all over & a radio room..it was the same scale as this & was still way over 2 feet long!

Excellent! I nevr liked Q Force as a kid, but thoroughly enjoy customising them now, I think it's the shade of blue... I also really enjoyed colouring in Sea Fury.

Re: the guns. What about keeping the housing, but swapping the guns for either for Whirlwind guns or Wolverine pods?

wow, kinda hard to find parts for a custom!!!! if anyone has a wolverine.............. let me know!!!!!

now im thinking about getting rid of the engine from the back of the moray (theres enough room that it could be under the deck) & want to put some kind of armament in the back, anyone got anything suitable? somekind of heavy guns.....
if anyone has any suggestions as far as morays go, please let me know! keep in mind it has to still float!
