I still have (and use) my 2600. I moded it with AV outputs, hooked it into the receiver in the lounge ;) I'm an Atari computer and console nut of old. There are emulators that you can run this with, Steller I think its called. I'm pretty sure I have the AF rom image somewhere too. PM me if you want a copy.

I'm on the hunt for a complete AF cart, one day ...... ;)

This guy is quite funny, he did a review of Bayou Billy on the NES.
God I hated that game (many a controller thrown at the wall!!) and its really funny watching him rip the piss out of it.

Lets face it, the greatest FPS is Star Raiders ;) I used to stay up all night pretending it was Star Wars or Star Trek and the glow of the clapped out old tele (slowly going green) on my desk would illuminate the room like Homers the old Radiation King. Zap, kapow.... Moved on to the Last Starfighter later on. What cool games.

The 5200 was an evolution of the 2600 based on the 8-bit computers. The 800XL mostly. You could also play 2600 games on it and the 5200's games were minor rewrites of XL/XE games. So it really wasn't that crap, just different. Its one of about 3 Atari's I don't have either. I do have a 600XL, 2 800XL's, 130XE, XEGS, 2600 Darth Vader, 2600jr, Flashback, Jaguar, 5 STFM's, 1040STE, 2 Falcon030's (one towered), a MegaSTE and a TT030. Atari is way cool ;) All are moded or hotroded in one way or another too. Hmmm soldering iron's.... the only way to repair computers.

That's it, after I've played SAS tonight, I'm going to play Pole Position on the 130XE ;)

I was a big on Commadore myself..@ one point I had a 64 (old breadbox shape) Amiga's 500,600 & 1200 sitting in the loft..the 64 got me right though from primary school to college, new game systems don't have half that lifespan do they?
Have you got Aliens v's Predator for the Jag' :chopper: ..it's the one game that I've wanted to play, but never had a chance to, I heard a lot of good talk about it.
