Nice one Baron.

I used a set of stickers I obtained by copying logo's into Word, sharpening up the image and colours then printing out to sticky address labels. they did need blending into the paint scheme a little but a dab of paint covers a multitude of sins.

Saying that I also have the Elite Blackhawk, fantastic model, but i am too scared to paint it. Nothing wrong with the green but I did want to make it part of AF. Will probably also get the Apache. you should see these models up close, the Abrahms is 3 times the size of the Battle tank, incredible.

Aye man! Same problem here with my EF items. I think they are too expensive to make errors. Chap Mei stuff is cheap enough to f**k up.

I finally managed to get one of these Chap mei helo`s last month.

Now l just need to stretch it & l`ll be overjoyed with it.

2 ways l can see my doing that, first Plastic Tube or 2nd to find/get a 2nd chapmei helo & cut & inset into the body of the first. Thus giving a more appropriate appearance.

Anyone here tried that??

Oh also got the BBI Apache,Blackhawk & littlebird. Though l`m hoping to pick up some PTE Littlebirds later this year (if when they come out over here :D).

Thank`s everyone for any help/offers & advice :D

Baron,
So what do you plan to do to your Helo mate? All Black with SAS markings? or as is with SAS markings? Nice either way mate.

Though l was strongly urged by others who had this helo to replace the rotors with the blades from the Joe helo arrggh l forgot the name :attack: (hides behind mask) GI JOE twin rotor helo.

As for the boat, very nice with a Red Shadow crew on board :D That the Chap mei copy? Or the actual Joe one?

I'd like to slap a big SAS dagger over the emblem, but the camo matches Sparrowhawk and the MMS missiles so, no, I'll keep the camo, besides I like it. Not too keen on the white trim or orangey bits though, they may meet a spray can soon.

I was dead chuffed with the stickers though, all saying A FORCE and AF!! What would be ace would be to get the light unit from one of the green editions.

The Moray is a Joe original, I didn't know there was a Chap Mei one. Figure this could do with a paint job too, but I may stock up on a few other bits beforehand. Current scheme is to transform my Tactical Battle Platform into a Space Force base!

Yes must admit sticking with the Grey/Black camo of the helo is probably best :D
Fits in well with Sparrowhawk as you say :D
Does the MMS fit inside the helo? If not underslung would do well too with Panther inside ;)

Green lighting, mmmm Nice idea & would be a nice touch too :D

Agree with the re-spraying of the Orange & white parts.

As for the Moray,
Yes if memory serves someone posted on JC they`d picked up a (l`m sure it was Chap mei) Moray type. Which was Very close to the original Hasbro one. Just more chunkier guns.

Whatever you do with these two, certainly an asset to the collection Baron :D

I tried putting the MMS and Panther in together and it did fit, but of course unhooked and I had to fish the trailer out by hand LOL.

Would it be possible to replace the belly hook with the MMS turret?

Not sure about the replacement of belly hook for MMS,though anything is possibel :D

Always use the cables that came with the helo, cut away the mesh type, make 4 strongpoints (hooks) on the MMS.
So it can be hooked to the 4 cables (hoops) & then it`s underslung from the helo on the cables.
Just like reality :D
