Nice Lady Jaye, I gave up army building Steel Brigades when I hit about 7.

Would you not feel that the gold head would make the perfect Commander for them?

2 words for the fear of a burglary.... booby trap.

I'm working on a device that once set, if you so much as look at my collection, initiates a robotic claw that will rip off your nether regions and allow you to look at them for 10 seconds before stage 2 kicks in. Stage 2 is the descending spikes from the roof ;-)

How many Crimson Guards are you after Ed?

I did drive up to Birmingham! The family selling this lot looked at me like I was mad! I've had two bad experiences with things being lost in the post and I'm scarred by it. Not that I always collect. Far from it. Only in special cases like this.

The mum who was there at the house mentioned that they had a load of Star Wars toys in the loft that they were yet to sort out. Keep an eye on their auctions in case they have something rare and don't make too much of a big noise about it.

Hee Hee! Great way not to attract any attention I find is to post questions on a freely available international auction site!

By they way, don't think I'm trying to gloat or show off by starting a thread like this. I like seeing other people's finds, hauls and eBay wins. No show boating is intended on my part when a bargain turns up.
It always makes me feel good when I see that a nice piece has ended up with a genuine fan rather than a toy trader just out for profit.

Personally I always like seeing what other people have been buying mate, so keep on sharing! Unless it's something you beat me for in an auction, then I may just sulk a little!
