New Action Force Stories...
I have been writing an Action Force story for sometime which I hope to make available on the web. I have finished chapter 1 and would like to make it more visual. It uses the original Z, Q, Space and SAS forces and the original Baron Ironblood Army.
Does anyone have drawing skills (of any kind) who would be interested
in drawing pictures to go with it?
Also, has anyone else written anything like this?

Sorry, can't draw at all.
I've got a story scripted that I was going to do as a photo story, but I've just never had the time to get it done. I'm now starting to mess round with 3d modelling software with a view to creating the whole story in CG, but it is a very long term project.

Sounds good. How long is your script. I would be interested in reading it. Which Characters have you used?
Yes, drawing is not my area either. I am good with sound however and am thinking that I may make it an audio story? It really depends on the demand/interest, as again this may take a while to do and do well.
It would be interesting to bring people together and do an online Action Force (English i.e. no GI joe) comic.
It seems a waste if people have made the effort to write stuff and no one ever reads it!

Well, I will be needing graphics and things for the web page.
Also it would be nice to do a text version of the story. A few pictures would be better to break things up, so if you fancy a bash?
I have done an excellent (well there good for me!) couple of adverts for the main story.
Anybody else out there?

The story was intended to run to about 20 pages, the overall story is very much Shadow based, but each of the Action Force teams have a strong supporting role. The plan is/was to use the story as a launch pad for new ideas much like the original mini comics.
Believe or not, the script is actually on paper, as I roughed it out frame by frame! I'll try to pull together and electronic version to post.
It'd be great to see what you've come up with.
Perhaps text stories are the way to start, with a few illustrations/photos, they can always be revisited later to turn them into strips.
An online comic could be good fun to do.

My intention was to write a story which included all the AF (Z, SAS, Space, Q force & the Enemy) characters at some point. This is coming along nicely and is currently 12 pages long. There is still a lot of work to do yet.
I then thought it would be nice to do a teaser story set before the main story which I could release to get people interested and also test the style (Text, Cartoon or Audio) for feedback. The text version of the teaser is now finished (8 Pages) except for enhancements to the drama to make it more exciting to read.
I am in no way an expert at this and would point out this is one of my first story telling experiences.
I would enjoy reading anyones attempts at the same.

Well, finally got the PC happily rendering CG Soldiers.
Need to work on the uniforms now, and convert them to Action Force colours.
Results are pretty good though:

With Cartoon Rendering

With Standard Rendering
Not sure which way to go, I can probably get away with simpler backgrounds with the toon render.
Figure is Michael3 from Daz, Uniform is Modern Desert Soldier (Daz) and Sten Gun is from Vanishing Point. Rendered in Daz Studio.
