Ol' Red Eye..wasn't that name used in a old episode of Battlestar Galactica?
That dodgy one about the Cylon gunslinger/futururistic old west town, & Apollo as Shane ripp-off story?

Oh.. I know it was the original 70's one Sundance may be able to tell you the exact episode. I remember that crap "Light Pipe" stuff was used to dress the set..remember that stuff?, used in Buck Rogers as well, in the landing bay when the star fighters are being topped up.. cheapo shops in Great Yarmouth used it a lot back in the 80's too I recall.

It needs a skull and crossbones somewhere, but it's bloodly brilliant. I was excited the other day when you said you had a palitoy custom coming, and it didn't disappoint!
i actually really like Red Eye!
thanks Malcolm, im pretty happy with it i guess, thought about painting camo on him but im just not happy with my camo painting skills!
who did the firefly palitoy custom? was really impressed with that, wanted to make a palitoy cobra trooper, but havent decided on a torso. if anyone has any palitoy parts laying around let me know!!!!!!!!!
just had an awesome idea how to make a cobra trooper head!

i did the palitoy firefly but i cheated with the camo.
painted the fig the colour of the camo, when dried used blue tack to work out a camo pattern then painted over the whole fig before removing the blue tack. left the blue tack on too long and it sort of has ridges around the edges but gonna sand it down a bit before i add an ink wash.
cheers

i started work on a cobra trooper and officer. just need a trooper head.
i use hasbro heads with palitoy body parts.
useing desert rat torso for the officer and us paratrooper torso for the trooper. the cobra symbol is gonna be a problem so may move it to the arms but havent decided yet.
