Hmmm I am looking forward to this storyline, been collecting the DD GI Joe comics from the beginning. I love the shadows though, so to see them go up against GI Joe and Cobra would be too sweet, except that really this is them in name and badge only. Thus far that we know, none of the Shadows characters will feature, heck the basic Shadows themselves might not be seen. I'll reserve judgement until I can read these comics, but my enthusiasm for them is a lot less than it was when I first heard of it.

Rather than inventing a whole new force and calling it the Red Shadows, why not just actually use the already developed background and such for them. They would still be just as new to the GI Joe universe, and would keep with their history. Just sounds like a wasted opportunity to me.

That's why it is up to us to let Devil's Due know that they stand to gain and keep many U.K. readers if they highlight the Red Shadows as they have been portrayed in the past. Everyone on this website should inundate http://www.devilsdue.net with our requests for the original "Shads"!

Wouldn't it be cool if the Black Major, was seeking revenge on Cobra Commander again? Its been done in BAF, so why not?

Nice Chopper.
After all if anyone is driven it would be the Black Major & l think he`d outflank almost ALL of Cobra`s lieutenants in tactics & Combat skills,even the Great Destro would be hard pushed to beat him at Tactics.

Firefly could be seen shifting to his TRUE master`s side...The Black Major

As l`d think he`d use Firefly a lot better & if lucky we could MINDWIPE the whole NINJA saga behind him too

It would be great to see the shadows rise again and may be some old AF team members Eagle, Q-force and SAS force.
