I personally think that with a statement like that - he's not joking.

The return of the red shadows would be SERIOUSLY COOL, especially if the talented Brandon Jerwa continues to write.

Yeah. I've been on http://www.devilsdue.net for the past couple days posting like crazy! I love it! (Especially since so many U.S. fans have no clue who the Red Shadows are! Too sweet!) 8)

WOW yes this would be GREAT if they do bring the Red Shadows in,though even moreso if they bring Eagle & Campbell in to be working along side GI JOE. Maybe as there the Intel experts on the Shadows???
Would make also an interesting story arc with Big Ben too ;)

It's kind of funny, but they gave us an American version of an "International Action Force" figure who was an S.A.S. officer: Big Ben. (Great name... I know! Ha! ) But in my mind, he always served alongside Eagle and S.A.S. Force, though he was never named in the series. It would be neat to see this relationship brought out in the regular Devil's Due series...

Well where Big ben was concerned with the original AF SAS force.
I had he pegged as one of those SAS guys in the background you saw in some of the stories.

This was a plum assignment for him & to make a name for himself away from SAS force mayebe?
After all we know the real SAS operate in 4 man teams & we know that AF SAS had it`s regualr team of SAS manpower:-
Eagle As CO would lead the following 4 man team..............
Muller,
Stake Out,
Stalker
Beaver.

l would say they were the pinnicale 4.
So no wonder Big ben went looking somewhere else for More action?? or maybe to learn more of Cobra?

Well l could originally get the DD Joe comic from FPI in the UK. Then around issue 6 Hasbro apparently put a stop to them being shipped over to the UK,not sure about the rest of Europe.
I know this as l`ve a few long time mates at FPI,who told me.

Shocked at first, though then it struck me,maybe Hasbro has something planned for the future for a possible AF release?? making a lot more sense now.
Scary that Hasbro can tell DD where they can sell there comic though,l`d have though more is better than less in the way of buyers, who then go onto buying the firgures & vehicles.
Or is that me just being practical??

A year ago, I called Hasbro's marketing to see what was up with Action Force vs. G.I. Joe. The Hasbro contact told me that Action Force titles can only be printed and sold in Europe and G.I. Joe titles can only be printed and sold in America, though characters are able to be shared.
However, I did notice that when Action Force went monthly back in the '80s, that the title was changed to G.I. Joe: European Missions and sold in the U.S. So there is a way around the "legal-ese" that surrounds these titles...
