Damn 1970.... don't you just hate time travel!

These blister packs are a mystery though, I wonder if the bubbles are the same as the ones used on the oddly packed carded figures (ie no accessories) that come up from time to time?

PS:
I'm trying very hard to not do a bad pun about 'blinkin cobra troopers....'

I don't think the cobra officer's gun and the black major's gun are the same.

I understood that the cobra officer had a dark grey gun made from rigid plastic and the black major's gun was black and extremely bendy.

Which one does hunter have?

Dinna ken what you mean with bendy, rubber-ish or sommick? I had a couple of BMs and all had a gun made of rather "normal" plastic. I would say it is the same as CO's gun.

If CO's and BM's gun are different, then Hunter, being Palitoy, would have the same as Black Major.

In that my bendy Black Major gun must have been a variant, but the Cobra Officer gun is definitely grey as opposed to black.
