Action Jack

Post by AnnieM »

I keep seeing Action Jacks on ebay - does anyone here collect them? Loads of boxed complete ones come up really cheaply which makes me think they may not be as old as they look - I assumed they were mid 70's but are they just cheapy 80's/90's?

I dont collect Jacks as such, but I do have a few on my shelf of fun.

I had loads as a kid possibly late 70's early 80's

Strangly enough a few months ago they were virtually non existant, but now like you say they seem to turn up quite often and boxed too !

Either someone somewhere is reproducing them or a someone has had a warehouse find ?

I'm half tempted to bid on a couple. They look like utter tat but still strangely interesting

It's the same with MAC figures, which are kind of the same thing. My mate's Dad worked for matchbox and he has tonnes of Action Jack/ MAC stuff. I see them at a lot of die-cast fiars, but the guys who sell them always want obscene amounts of cash for them. I'd be interested in a couple, but not to really get into collecting them.

They are tat, but in a good way ? very cheaply made and copied almost exactly from matchbox "Mobile Action Command" figures

if you look at these figures the wrong way the paint falls off them !

but Pull his head and he will fall apart !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have a couple of spare figures if you would like one ?
