Vintage Star Wars figures (EDIT: -and some Action Man stuff)

Now I have my AF pretty much sorted one of my next jobs is to sort out my loose collection of Star Wars figures and catalogue what I have and need. I suspect I will have quite a lot of duplicates of some common figures so was wondering if anyone on here also collects SW and could maybe be interested in any trades?

Alternatively, can anyone recommend a decent Forum that isn't too up it's own arse and which will go relatively easy on me and my lack of knowledge of SW ways? Oh, and which will put up with my rambling ways?

And finally any links to somewhere used friendly for putting weapons to figs etc? My efforts to find a decent UK based site thus far have proved fruitless, so any help much appreciated!

Steve any help you need, just ask.

Have a fair few loose complete with original accessories available too.

In terms of matching weapons to figures, Rebelscum is one of the easiest to navigate http://www.rebelscum.com/vintage.asp

In terms of forums, well there are none as nice as here, it's a mixture to be honest, but none I would really recommend for the casual collector sadly.

There's quite a few of us here that know our sw toys.

I guess we all 'found' AF from collecting SW first.

I've got tonnes of the stuff, as does Indy, Andy1672, tintin, TKW I think...

As for Rebelscum, its more of a specialist/hardcore arena, just like we very occassionally get here about every 200th post or so!

Coool! Cheers guys. I'll plod through and see what I've got - so far I'm up to four Gamore, Gonorea, Genit, erm, Jabbas Guards, so you can tell I'll be doing some more army building! I collected them years ago, when I first discovered Ebay, and when bulk buys of Star Wars figures were a common event, and I then just lost track of what I have or needed, so put them in a box to focus on AF, hence my not having too much of clue. Looking forward to sorting them now though.

BIGGGG box of AF for swaps, trades and customs just arrived at my office, so a fun lunch break is planned. Already pleased as so far I can see there's a plain white Arctic, a US paratrooper, a loose Baron Eisenblud and a Space Force ATT Pilot,that I didn't know was going to be there, along with quite a lot of series 1, so I can see that some will be getting kept at this rate!

Actually, no, I'll get round that - lets Chat about Action Men - good aren't they?

Did they go from painted heads, to flocked hair, to Eagle eyed? I have one flock haired with flesh coloured pants, and two blue pants Eagle eyed chaps. After one or two more, but dont think I'd like painted hair ones - hence the question.
