that Trek spoof was very well done. they had good Okudagrams on the screens and good quality uniforms, even if they were a mish-mash of TNG, early DS9 and late DS9...

i didn't hardly understand it though!

That was mild! The accent gets worse the further north you go, from about Stonehaven up and by the time you get to Peterhead they even put subtitles on for us!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Both brilliant! Typical Glaswegians (or soap dodgers as we on the East coast call them!)

I've probably got a broad Fenland accent...& would sound loike a real country bumking to some north of the boarder :oops:

Know what you mean. This might sound daft but when I'm in England I sound more Scottish, by that I mean my accent gets stronger.
