If I remember right, it was the Marvel Weekly issue that had Dusty and Alpine in Casablanca. They were meeting Farouk there and he appeared to die, but it was all a plot by Destro.

(I used to have all the digests, but tossed them, because they were simply tiny repeats of everything I already have.)

Yeah, like "Reader's Digest" a digest is usually a "pocket-sized" book... so the scale is about a 1/3 of an American comic. (Now British comics, from what I have seen, are large, about the size of an American magazine, e.g. glamor, entertainment, ghetto rags, etc.) :wink:

well to add to the info. current prices for the GI Joe specials are ?26 and ?30. I must be out of my mind... Bet they're all reprint material too.

Actually, I'm surprised that the new comics run of G.I. Joe (published by Devil's Due in Chicago, IL.) has not made it over to England. It picks up where the old Marvel run ended, only seven years later. It's pretty good, but not quite as good as the Action Force stories were. :af: 8)
