Will do guys, I have been re-reading them over the last month so I shouldn't get too distracted.

Chopper - I ordered those annuals we were on about ages ago. I forget which ones you were missing now?Chopper wrote:Yup, been trying NOT to read at workThe Baron wrote:I am putting together a scanning group to tackle the c2c Battle collection

Chopper, have you seen these sites?
http://www.falconsquadron.co.uk/
http://www.bestofbattle.co.uk/I had near all the Battle mags. Had a huge selection of Commando comics too. Why did I ever think I was going to grow up?
I've got a few annuals if you need them scanned? Those and holiday specials are all I have leftAlso have 82/83 Action annuals as well as various other spin off's from Fleetway. Scouts, Dr Who, Starlord, Blakes 7.... etc, etc.
Attack, Falcon Squadron... Hmmm there's a cool name for the AF Air Force. Falcon Squadron.
Chopper & Baron - in the coming weeks I should get to the stage where I have most of the AF era Battle annuals, mini comics, and holiday specials. Do any need scanning? If so, Chopper - I'll split the work with you?

Specials are all done, the minis are done. Apart from the Action Force strips none of the annuals are done.

Cool. I'd forgotten about that Steve. It was 1985 I think. I have BPW 82, Battle 83 and 84, BAF 86 and 87. IIRC there was BAF 88 and Battle 89. I had moved to Aussie then and never saw the 88 and 89 ones. Still on the lookout for 1985, 1988, 1989 and any pre-1982 ones.

That would be brilliant mate. This is a concise list of everything Battle.

The Annuals ran from 1976 to 1989. The only unknown factor is Eagle. Johnny Red and Charley's War reprints ran in Eagle after Battle was axed, but nobody knows if there were new strips in the Eagle Summer Specials and Annuals.
