Thanks Steve, you're a gentleman and a scholar. To late to drop in with Wolvie and the lads? Spearhead and Max is for my Daughter. I got 2 job lots that wound up with a heap of spare limbs etc. Rebuilt about a dozen figures. I let the kids custom up a couple more. My daughter wants a figure and liked the Spearhead limbs. Got plenty of time, sooo.... Just realised to the acronym is Spearhead and Max is S & M. Ewwww.
Max is a Bobcat BTW LJ I also have about 20 -30 figure bits that aren't worth bothering with, they'll be trade fodder. I can see I'll probably end up posting on Yo Joe eventually. TBH this forum has become so much fun I'd be loathe to try another. I'd feel like an adulterer. Lol.
Another thing too, my Spearhead limbs appear to be variants I've not seen before. Another reason I was interested to resurrect him. Camo pattern is black, not red. Weird.
Ordering a heap of bits from the US today that will complete quite a few of them. Rather than buying whole figures I prefer to reconstruct buggered ones. I'd hate to be responsible for the death of another trooper
Steve, that is awesome little back story too. I was hearing Queen's "Bicycle race" in my head whilst reading that One thing I hadn't considered is using a SAS Trooper as Hunter, if we are on the whole boycott the articulated figures thing (Space Commanders Gaucho?). Hmmm a cool project. And the mystery troops are indeed puzzling. Roll on Hyena and Wolvie.
