Andy, I feel exactly the same as you.

I take this spamming personally which I know I shouldn't.

Why should these absolute tossers invade our site with their shite?

I want to meet them and lamp them one for their troubles.

It really riles me to have something personal that I like a lot [this place] invaded by some sad-life wanker that needs to get a real job.

How do they get in? Do they just pick random sites and decided to spoil it?

They're constantly at it, the board was plagued by them a couple of years ago. Then phpBB released version 3 which we have been using. As of last weekend they found a way to hack it, hopefully a fix file / upgrade will be released soon.
