Wolverine and Ton Up

Post by LDR »

Just today received a nice boxed wolverine with ton up.

Ton up is bagged, however there is no helmet, did some come without helmets? Pics on the box cover(online) show a helmet, yet the instructions don't.

Is this just missing or did some come with and some come without?

Thanks

lewis

A lot of things were changed during the production process. What you see on a picture might not be included in the final product. Also, packaging errors were very common at the Palitoy factory.

lol....ok that explains it all.

Friday afternoon they packaged up this figure...just about to put a helmet in....when the lads shout we're off to the pub...right seal him up that'll do!

They should take more care!

Coalville in Leicestershire, but I doubt it was the only one.

Coalville is a wee place very well known for its pubs with light entertainment. ;)

Seriously, is it me or did the company pay more attention to Star Wars than to Action Force? I cannot recall so many errors with Star Wars (maybe because I am not so deep into Star Wars), but there are so many variants with Action Force that every figure tends to be a one of a kind unique figure...

Probably find that tight old Lucas Arts would have a fit if things were going wrong with star wars figures.

Probably sold a heap more Star Wars stuff too, so the chances of finding a packing error would be lower. Was Star Wars gear just shipped from Hong Kong as parts and packaged in the UK, or was it actually moulded there?

Just wondering if any of that was to do with protectionist government? That sorta crap held NZ and Aussie back for years.
