I know people dont like to give values or find it very hard, but can i get a rough idea of what you would expect to pay for the following:
Carded Stalker
Carded Scarlett
Mint in mint box Escape Armour
I have seen some for sale, and they are priced quite high...just trying to work out if these prices are normal or hyped up dealer prices!
Any help would be great, PM me if you prefer.
Thanks

Re: Values
some sought after stuff there. I'd say at least thirty or firty quid for each figure, and fifty plus for escape armour. More for a cobra one due to us interest, so maybe seventy quid. Just my guesses, and all depends on other bidders if they went to auction.

Re: Values
wow...quick reply! thanks
so thirty or firty quid, depending on how you talk? lol....sorry couldnt resist!
The stalker i've seen is around £50, so about right in price. The scarlett more like £100.
The armour value is alot less than i expected. The one i've been looking at is in the US, so the exchange is now rubbish, and is around £200! Though it is mint, mint, mint.
Might wait out for a little bit.
thanks again

Re: Values
Sorry! Using my mobile to type never ends well! Two hundred for the armour I'd say is way ott. Even for a cobra one.
Personally I'd consider hundred for the scarlett too pricey too. But then again supply and demand ain't it? They very rarely come up for sale, and lots of people are looking to series 3 now they've completed as far as possible series 2?

Re: Values
Thanks Steve. You're right, if you can only find 1 for sale, then you havent got much choice in what you pay i suppose!
Re: Values
I picked up a MIB escape armour for £75 last year. I would also agree with Steve's estimates.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

LDR,
the Stalker and Scarlet for sale on ebay have been there for about 8 to 10 months.
They are just very over-priced.
I want both figures but I'm not paying the prices, they are just silly.
I've offered the guy my best offers for them in the past but he doesn't want to know. Full price or nothing. So nothing it is...
They just sit in his shop month after month, so clearly everyone else agrees with me and no one bothers to buy them.
With patience he'll either drop the price or others will come along for sale.
Toy collecting is alot about patience unless you win the lottery of course!

Re: Values
Is this the one in the U.S ?

Now and again he puts them in an auction and you can pick them up a little cheaper.
I did win a carded Scarlett for around £15 -£20 from him last year but it didn`t arrive
Said he was moving office and misplaced it, got a refund in the end though

Re: Values
Thanks guys, looks like i'll have to wait abit. Quite tempted with the stalker though.
Does sound like the guys a bit of a tough nut. I asked for a better deal and got the same reply, prices were firm.
Shame really for both sides, he doesnt sell and a collector doesnt get that figure he needs.
Thanks for the help.
