First off, my collecting tastes run strictly to the GI Joe side of things, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong place, but I do have a fair number of rare items in my collection:
MOC Beach Head from India (with red/yellow outfit)
MOC Zap from India (with Steeler head)
MIB Furion from Brazil (silver Rage)
loose mint Brazilian Cobra De Aco
loose Brazilian Python Patrol Swampfire
loose Brazilian Red Water Moccasin
loose ATC w/antenna
2003 Convention Jinx MOC
2005 Canada JoeCon Black Ice
I also just entered into a deal to purchase five of the infamous "Argen 7" figures....soon, I hope to own Manleh, Redmack, Shimik, Topson, and Glenda!!!
What's the rarest items in your collection?
Re: What's the rarest items in your collection?
The mere fact that a flamethrower even exists is proof that someone once said to themselves: "You know, I'd like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough".
Re: What's the rarest items in your collection?
I think the rarest item in my collection is my second issue Sealion with jointed Dolphin figure thats complete. Also I think my jointed Moondancer with all his weapons is pretty rare with his Triad....

Don't know much about this side of things but is it not really rare to have a complete one of these?sf1378 wrote:Also I think my jointed Moondancer with all his weapons is pretty rare with his Triad....
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Do you mean it is rare to have a complete one? I think it is, but the others may disagree. I was surprised to find out that both the jointed Moondancer and Dolphin figures had matching grey equipment, basically ShortFuses and Zaps recoloured in light grey.....I think its a bit odd that a Space Pilot would need a mortar, bipod and missle backpack if hes in Outer Space! Same goes for Dolphin, unless he lands his Sealion on shore and joins the rest of an A.F. team for an attack with his bazooka....
Another few rare items I have are loose complete Z-Force Mine Sweeper and Medic....got them free off someone 2 years ago. Oddly, I've often come across these figures here and there in local retro shops and the like so can't really understand why some collectors never find them.
I think my UK/EU Tiger Force Outbacks a pretty cool/rare item to have as many US collectors don't have that.
However, my most prized possession A.F. wise has to be my RoboSkull. To me it was one of the most imaginatively designed items in The Enemy range and to have one mint complete loose is hard enough imho.....really chuffed I have one. I opted to have it piloted by the jointed Red Wolf figure, the original versions in the rear gunners seat though!

would love to complete the South American lineup one day also.
The Indian figures will have to get in queue, especially the non-Funskool ones as they are mighty expensive

Tiger Force Blizzard is another in my top 5, the Roboskull is almost in a league of it's own as there isn't anything else quite like it.sf1378 wrote:paul463 wrote:Don't know much about this side of things but is it not really rare to have a complete one of these?sf1378 wrote:Also I think my jointed Moondancer with all his weapons is pretty rare with his Triad....
