(Image Heavy - Again) 1985 Palitoy Trade Catalogue

Post by Dave Tree »

Another heavy image one, but here are the pages introducing the AF range in the 1985 Palitoy Trade Catalogue.

This one is missing from the BFTB archives, so hope you guys like this, as it was the last one Palitoy made before their demise.

These have been nicely arranged with great backgrounds, however still using Z-Force branded vehicles:

That's cool. Same pics as from the BAF annuals and holiday specials. Real cool, I didn't know that Jammer and Gaucho were later substituted for Stalker and Gung-ho.

BLoody good spot that man!

How bizarre. Surely an error on their part - I can't imagine it was ever intended to be released with CC? Interesting.

He means the actual picture of the box, next to the text - it does say "Commander". Again, I think it must be a misprint - surely never intended it to come with Cobra Commander, unless a Red Laser style repaint was planned in the early stages?

I think it's just a 'stop gap' to show the packaging is changing before they knew they would keep or change the name of Red Wolf/ Wild Weasel.

The retailers who would be purchasing the stock probably would have not cared who was coming with the vehicle, they probably just thought it was a real cheek to offer the same product, but under a new guise.
