Gor, King of the Terrons

Post by The Baron »

A long shot, I know, but I've wanted one of these 12" Super-Joe figures for years now.

He's the Giant Kraken on the left.

OMG is he really a GI joe ?

I thought the Palitoy ones were bizarre enough ! although Captain Zargon was one of my favorite action men.

I think they started off ok with bulletman and the space rangers etc, but then it all went a bit pear shaped when they introduced Gargon and the Intruder !!

Ive never seen these ones before ... good luck !

Now that's jogged a few memories! I had the one with the light-up shield and the bearded main character - Don't think he was called "Super Joe over here though - Wasn't it 'Captain Power' or something? I also don't remember them being 12" figures either - They were shorter than that. Don't recall the exact size.... around 9" or 10"?

I also had the huge, modular spaceship (with glow in the dark stickers). The front section detached, which in itself dispensed a smaller grey 'sled' vehcile, while the rear section split open to reveal a 'command centre' and a tracked frame into with the sled could be fitted.
All gone now though, sadly!
