ANYONE RECALL ACTION FORCE CRISPS?

Am I the only one here who remembers ACTION FORCE CRISPS? Would have been about 1982-84 they were sold. You could buy a packet at your school 'tuck shop' for about 5p in them days....

(Sound like a Gran'Dad now!).....The best thing was that if you collected a certain amount of packets and sent them in to Palitoy you could get a figure of your choice from the entire range!

I remember getting the SPACE FORCE COMMANDER and S.A.S. SQUAD LEADER ia that method! The figures came loose in bags and I remember I even got a small catalogue to drool over.....

I can remember a tv advert for the first Series 1 range which had Welsh actor Windsor Davies as a shop keeper talking to a little kid in his shop about the AF figures which were stood on the shop counter. I can remember it plain as day, yet I've searched and found absolutely nothing on it. It makes me think whether I dreamt it or not.... Sure I didn't, though.

No not my imagination....Defo these existed. The crisps were like Monster Munch/KP Space Invaders style shapes. Packets were small, the size of a bag of Space Invaders.

Amazed no one else recalls them!

Hi mate I cant remember them but to be fair I bet they did becuase they did loads of gimmicks maybe KP did the offer??
Can anybody remeber the advert with all the action force figures loads and loads of red shadows and the rest of the enemy I think it was something to do with world dominition and could Action Force stop them!!! I cant find that ad anywhere...

It was KP the crisps were called Crispi or something like that. I posted the leaflets a few months back I'll re post them tomorrow, I'm at work at the minute.

I remember a wave 2 AF ad I cannot find anywhere, it showed all of the new gear and ended zoomingor (or possibly out) of Grant Campbell standing on the Z Force base.
