ah ok, have any other characters been found with crossovers, or has it only been The Baron that has surfaced?

Dave.

A mispackage of mine [2 x 4-LOM guns instead of one] but not a mis-pack because it should have the 4-LOM gun:

The german range used some star wars guns. Clemen's website explains why.

http://www.toyarchive.de/att/af_germany.htm

Clemen fills in gaps in his collection by refering to the German cardback. There are errors here, such as the Space Force Pilot which had different guns to those he has stated. This is because of the prototypes used on the back of the card and all the same reasons that we have been discussing here about the UK cardback probably [mock-up toys for publishing deadlines etc..]

I don't know if the Space Force Commander is correct or not with the Han Solo Bespin blaster:

http://www.toyarchive.de/att/watt/himmelsstuermer.htm

Because the cardback doesn't show the figure with the Bespin gun, I can only assume that Clemen added that from his own knowledge so maybe he had a Space Commander as a kid with a Bespin blaster....

It probably because it looks less threatening than a real gun (stun gun instead), following the no one shall be killed theme of the German AF.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

S.A.S. Force Pilot. I guess he is such a lousy pilot, they supplied him with five pistols to survive! ;)

If you had to use one of those pistols for real I'm not sure if he would survive! They are only accurate at up to about 15m.

It's a great photo. I had an attack trooper with two Grease guns in it. I did open it to get the extra gun out, needed it to tool up Sparrowhawk.

Wash you're mouth out lad, he's the best pilot AF ever had ;). That's talent, he can use all 5 at once AND fly a helicopter. I always thought Chopper came with an Uzi? Can't remember how I ended up with that for mine? Going over to that Marauders web site for some newies me thinks.

Love that 5-pistol SAS figure.

I would have been sorely tempted to buy that to get the 5 pistols!

Back to the Star Wars weapons theme, this proto shot shows an IG88 rifle, Snowtrooper rifle and Tie Fighter Pilot/Cloud Car Pilot pistol:
