The resin I use is extremely brittle, I tend not to do anything long and thin because it snaps so easily. the mines are pretty solid so no probs.

the problem with mine detector would be making a 2 part split mold.

this isnt too awkward, however when the resin dries in an enclosed mold it has a tendency to shrink !!

I have tried making hats before, I made a couple of jungle fighter hats and the resin dries hard with no room for movement, also because of the thin sides they would be very fragile !

anyway...... after all of that I am tempted to have a go, im always up for a challenge !

please dont rely on me tho ! If you expect nothing and get something then its a bonus ?
