Then I would suggest Starcases! Cost me only a few pennies and do the same trick! :)

You know Jaye, you have a point there I'm looking at mine at the minute all in star cases and they do look good in them. I have one acrylic case that my arctic assault is in it looks good too. But for cost the Star cases do the job for a fraction of the price!
Any way when we are all round for SteveD's house warming we can have a look at them first hand!! Better get security in for the night!!!!!

I have visions of ripped open card backs and Z Force blood being spilled all over my new carpets!!! Argh!!! Scary!!!

If I'm honest, were I to start again with the cases, and the benefit of hindsight, I'd be sorely tempted just to go with the Star Cases. The acrylic cases look ace, and fit fantastically well into a book case, making the collection tidy, displayed, very accessible and not taking up as much space as it would in Star Cases, but they have cost so much more than I'd thought when I set out - I bought the first batch when you got almost $1.8 to the £. Needless to say, the second batch cost me a lot more! Suspect I will be waiting until the £ is a bit stronger before ordering any more!

I did try to source a UK based supplier, but they were going to charge the earth to fabricate them, or make inferior products. Now I've started down this road I shall stroll merrily to its end however, and in due course will be getting the final cases I need to complete.

Regardless of what they are displayed in I bet they look great!

Really envious about you being able to display your loose stuff to, would need a bigger house for that! Although I have been given permission for, and I quote "a geek room" when we take the next step on the ladder! Now all I need are prices to fall just a wee bit!

Paul, there's always hope!

I've got my DJ-booth in the living room and a 'geek' room!
I am lucky my girlfriend collects comics, so she kinda understands my twisted genes.

Its a necessary evil. Mine is loaded up with computers, guitars (and parts), amps, Stereo, scale models, comics, wife's waxing table and Action Force figures. I'd be stuffed without it. Tho the shelves are now having trouble taking the invasion of action figures.

Get a room I say;-)

I think it's only fair that as she gets to decorate the rest of the house to her taste that I have one room to do with as I wish.

Wall to wall GI Joe, with the occasional Starwars figure and Transformer being just that.

I prefer Daddy's room to geek room
