25th Joes

Post by Chopper »

G'day again all. Just a quicky, are the vehicles in the 25th range accurate to the originals? I was thinking of a couple of customs too, Cobra Officer, Gung Ho, Scarlett....Stalker etc.

All the 25th vehicles should be backwards compatible for drivers and such, except the fang and claw as the peg is too high and small for classic figures. Any secondary standing stations on a vehicle wont work though as the foot peg is several sizes smaller now.

Thanks guys, but I guess what I'm really asking is are the new vehicles a close match to the originals? Did Hasbro use the same mould's? So the figures are close but no cigar then. should still be fun to custom the figures mind you.

Yeah, for all intents and purposes the vehicles are the same, except the C.L.A.W..

H.I.S.S. Has a wider deeper seating section.
Vamp has more detailed interior, an Engine hood, Line attached to Rear gun, Exterior Shovel and hideous wheels.
Trouble Bubble has figure mount, and Thicker undercarriage gun
R.A.M. has New handle bars too high for classic figures, Saddle bags that can be opened, and more detailing
Air Chariot is too small for 25th but good for classic and has a new articulated snake head
Armadillo has removable bag, Ladder and more detail, guns dont elevate as high as they use too
F.A.N.G. is way more detailed in the interior, has a line to front mounted machine gun, and a peg on the seat to accomidate 25th only joes (Some dont even fit and have to hunch forward)
C.L.A.W. All new. Its good for a jet pack but its tiny and a a real disappointment only compatible with the new 25th backpack hole
Rattler has a deeper cockpit and gunner position, but has landing gear that work and dont fold under
A.W.E., Sharc, Firebat, and Conquest X-30 are basically the same
