No one seems to remember this other than me, but Windsor Davies was actually in the very first Action Force advert on the tv back in 1982. He played a 'sergeant major'-type shopkeeper who talks to a small boy in his shop behind the counter. The shop counter has rows of Series One figures stood on it in lines of multiples.

I seem to be the only person on planet earth who can actually remember this. I'm certain that I didn't dream it!

Didnt have the BBC in our house in Ireland but would love to see that advert.

Ive seen the ad you described as its on youtube but it wasn't Windsor Davies, unless you mean there is another? At the last RORC Dave found the kid who was in the advert which was pretty cool.
