I never realised about the elastic bands until reading this topic which was cool. Is there anything unusual about the Z Force Radio Operator having the backing card of first release cards, instead of the same as the white sticker front ones (the 2 divers) ?

It's unusual, I don't know what's under the black promo Aug/July sticker but I feel it's the white star promo on the front you see there and not the same Aug/July promo you see on the Frogman. You should post that figure in the Steve D theory thread.

Anyone willing to peel off a black Aug/July promo sticker to find out?

Vectis wins finally arrive.. Here is an interesting duo, Space Security with painted leg bands and pouches but the left sided figure has painted arm bands and pouch too. I knew of the painted leg and pouch variant but not of one with painted arms too. Also the bubbles are very different.

2x Sonar Officers, one pre production the same figure LDR picked up too, with the tape over the name and also a Dutch version. Both with painted leg bands, different guns.

Sapper and Aqua Trooper with printed white star July/Aug promo. I didn't think the Q and Aqua Force came on these cards but evidently Q certainly did.

2x Deep Sea Defenders. 1 with black Aug/July promo, I didn't think that Q and Space came with this promo and with the back of the card having the Commander in the right and not left I still don't believe they were released with this promo, rather this is an error at Palitoy or some kind of pre production etc.. The other has a normal elastic band instead of the red or blue.
