I have that very leaflet. Its my one in the archives

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Yes so it is Paul! I hadn't noticed it before.. The actual crisp packets are in the archive too! Pretty amazing as they're from 84! I've never heard of Crispi's either..

Some interesting prototype figures in there too.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Awesome find, there can't be many of these left.
Is there, apart from resorting to a pot of paint, any way of getting hold of a red coloured Uzi?

More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

Yeah, it's interesting that there are so many first phase figures - the earlier tassled and oddly painted variants.
There are also examples of these type of figures cropping up in photographs that can only have come from later phases - those on the back of Lance, Dart, and Shaft, for example (I'll start a new thread for this and more information).
And given the range of figures on offer, this is clearly an early grouping, though after the arrival of Q Force and Space Force.
I wonder if Palitoy marketing (or whoever) only had a single lot of figures that they wheeled out whenever a new marketing shot was needed - it would make sense.
Having said that, the Q Force Aqua Trooper is so far from the actual figure, it wouldn't surprise me if they totally replaced him. Red hands, black trimming...

Phones red Uzi looks cool, I wonder if one was ever available in a G.I.Joe weapons pack?

Alas, not according to WHOBIT - no sign of a red uzi.
Anywhere else it could have been made? Or is it a one-off?
I wonder if the Palitoy marketing department bod still has the toys, or if they were sold off.
Imagine if that lot, one-offs and all, appeared suddenly on ebay!
